Committee tasks


1. Organizing student admissions to the faculty and determining the number of students in line with its capacity.
2. Regulating and reviewing student services offered to students by the departments affiliated with the Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs (Assessment and Evaluation / Distance Education Youth Welfare).
3. Managing all activities related to faculty and university students.
4. Monitoring the implementation of the educational and teaching plan for undergraduate stage.
5. Setting the schedule for final and midterm exams and getting the approval from the Faculty Council.
6. Reviewing and deciding on student requests (excuses, transfers, enrollment suspension).
7. Holding the monthly meeting of the Education and Student Affairs Committee to review all matters related to the educational process at the faculty and referring issues requiring Faculty Council approval to Faculty Council.
8. Forming examination control committees for the undergraduate stage.
9. Developing and reviewing the teaching and learning strategy and presenting it to Faculty Council.
10. Organizing the places of examination rooms and distributing exam places according to the exam schedule.
11. Preparing a proposed undergraduate exam schedule for students’ review before final approval.
12. Setting the registration, add/drop deadlines for each academic semester.
13. Establishing the regulations for student specialization and grouping.
