Mathematics Department at Faculty of Science aspires to be a distinguished educational, research, and service center at both the national and international levels.

Mission

The academic staff of Mathematics Department at Faculty of Science seek to enriching the educational, research, and technological system in the field of mathematics to keep pace with contemporary challenges. They also prepare outstanding graduates for the labor market while contributing to solving problems within the surrounding community.


Mathematics Department Aims at:
  1. Graduating distinguished human cadres who have high efficiency in the different fields of the department: Mathematics whether pure or applied, Statistics and Computer Sciences.

 

  1. Serving the community through showing the recipients the role that the department plays to identify the mathematical problems and to find the perfect solutions for them. Moreover, the department aims at showing its role in the formation of studies and statistical analyses and its role in what the branch of Computer Sciences introduces to serve the mathematical and statistical fields as well as the development of integrated programs
