Orientation Seminar Titled "University Scientific Research and Measurements Center" Held at Faculty of Science, Tanta University

   On Monday, April 27, 2026, the Faculty of Science at Tanta University hosted an orientation seminar titled "The University’s Scientific Research and Measurements Center." The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, University President, and Prof. Hatem El-Sayed Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. It was organized under the supervision of Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean; Prof. Zenhom El-Said Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Amgad Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

   The seminar aligns with the faculty’s commitment to enhancing scientific research, honing researchers’ capabilities, and optimizing the utilization of advanced research equipment. This initiative was a collaborative effort between the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Science and the university's Scientific Research and Measurements Center.

   In her opening speech, Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, emphasized that the faculty places high priority on advancing scientific research through supporting specialized centers and fostering a stimulating academic environment that contributes to excellence and innovation.

   The seminar featured presentations by Dr. Noha El-Abbasi and Dr. Noha Ragab — researchers at the Central Laboratory. Additionally, Asst. Prof. Eman Abdel Sattar El-Khatib, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science and Supervisor of the Center, delivered a comprehensive overview of the center’s services. She highlighted the its pivotal role in supporting researchers both within and outside the university, emphasizing its dedication to providing technical support and training to ensure the highest quality of scientific results.

   The event concluded with thanks extended to Dr. Eman El-Khatib, the guest speakers, the attendees, and the organizing committee for their efforts in ensuring the success of this significant scientific gathering.
