Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Tanta University, received today, Monday, 27 April 2026, the faculty’s scout team following its distinguished participation in the 19th Scout and Guide Festival, which was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, University President, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

   During the meeting, the Dean received the participation shield from the scout team in recognition of her continuous support for student activities and her commitment to developing students’ skills and refining their capabilities across various fields. The recognition was attended by Prof. Amgad Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

   In her speech, Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din expressed her pride in the faculty’s students for presenting outstanding role models across various activities, affirming that student activities constitute an essential component in shaping the university student’s personality and contribute to fostering leadership and teamwork skills.
