In alignment with Tanta University’s commitment to providing students with a holistic preparation that integrates scientific knowledge with ethical and educational awareness, the Faculty of Science launched the first seminar of the "Raise Your Child Right" series on Thursday, April 9, 2026. This series is held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President of Tanta University, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with the supervision of Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, in coordination with Mr. Ahmed Shehab, Director of Youth Welfare, and the Student Union.
In this context, Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, affirmed that organizing this series reflects the faculty’s social and educational role. She noted that human development is not limited to academic achievement alone, but extends to preparing a conscious generation capable of creating cohesive families and a balanced society. She further highlighted the faculty's dedication to providing purposeful awareness-raising activities that address the evolving needs of its students.
For his part, Prof. Amgad Salama, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, explained that the seminar represents a significant step toward educating youth approaching marriage. He stressed the importance of fostering educational awareness among students, which contributes to preparing a generation capable of assuming responsibility and building a better future. He also emphasized the importance of organizing such seminars periodically to maximize their benefit for students.
The seminar was presented by Prof. Randa Mostafa El-Deeb, Professor of Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Education, Tanta University, and founder of the "Raise Your Child Right" initiative. The faculty extended its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Prof. Randa El-Deeb for the valuable information and distinguished presentation that significantly enriched the seminar.
