As part of Tanta University’s commitment to fostering social awareness and instilling family values among its students, the Faculty of Science organized an awareness seminar titled "Mawadda for Preserving the Cohesion of the Egyptian Family" on Sunday, April 12, 2026. The seminar was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. It was supervised by Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Amgad Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, in coordination with the General Administration of Youth Welfare and the Student Union.
During her speech, Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din emphasized the importance of such seminars in grounding societal values and enhancing students' awareness of the pivotal role the family plays in achieving social stability. She further highlighted the faculty's dedication to continuously organizing purposeful events that contribute to the holistic development of students' personalities.
This seminar is part of a series of "Mawadda" events organized by the faculty as part of its ongoing interest in developing students' social awareness, contributing to the preparation of an enlightened generation capable of supporting the stability and cohesion of society.
