Faculty of Science, Tanta University Organizes a Seminar on First Aid to Promote Health Awareness Among Students

   The Faculty of Science at Tanta University organized, today, Wednesday, 11 March 2026, a seminar entitled “First Aid,” under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Zeinhem Salem El-Said, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

   The seminar was delivered by Dr. Ekram Shalash, Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, Tanta University, and Dr. Heba Ali Othman, Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, Tanta University. The event was attended by Prof. Zenhom Salem El-Said, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Abdel Baset Shokr, Emeritus Professor at the Department of Chemistry; Mr. Desouki Abdel Sattar from the Community Service and Environmental Development Administration; in addition to many academic staff members, employees, and students of the faculty.

   In her remarks, Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science, emphasized the faculty’s commitment to organizing such awareness seminars that contribute to raising students’ health awareness and helping them to acquire the skills needed to deal properly with emergency situations, thereby reinforcing the university’s role in serving the community and promoting health culture.
