The Faculty of Science, Tanta University, inaugurated on Sunday, March 8, 2026 the Small and Micro Enterprises Exhibition “Your Idea, Your Project.” It will be held on March 8 and 9, 2026 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the faculty.
The exhibition is organized under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, under the supervision of Prof. Abeer Alam Al-Din, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority — Gharbia Branch.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to support young entrepreneurs and artisans by promoting and marketing their handmade products — enhancing entrepreneurship and small projects.
The inauguration of the exhibition was attended by Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Tanta University; Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Mohamed Labib, Emeritus Professor at the Department of Zoology; Mr. Sherif El-Zeiny, Faculty Secretary-General; Mr. Mahmoud Rabie, Director of the Dean’s Office; and Ms. Randa El-Semllawy, Director of the “Mashrouak” Project in Gharbia Governorate.
In her speech, Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din affirmed that organizing the exhibition reflects the faculty’s commitment to strengthening its community role and supporting youth and owners of small enterprises. She emphasized the significance of providing platforms for showcasing and marketing their products, thereby contributing to the development of the local economy and promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among young people.
The exhibition features a variety of distinctive products, including clothing, accessories, resin products, beaded and crochet bags, concrete crafts, candles, and more.
