Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam Al-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science – Tanta University, announced the issuance of program accreditation certificates for the Physics and Materials Science programs from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE), following the Authority’s decision to grant accreditation at its session held on October 23, 2025.

   This accreditation represents the culmination of the sustained efforts exerted by the faculty’s administration, academic staff members, teaching assistants, and administrative personnel, within the framework of the faculty’s strategic plan to advance the educational process and develop academic programs in accordance with national and international quality standards. These efforts aim to prepare qualified graduates capable of competing in the labor market and serving the community.

   The accreditation of the Physics and Materials Science programs further proves the faculty’s commitment to implementing comprehensive quality standards and ensuring the continuous development of curricula, teaching and assessment methods, in addition to strengthening the infrastructure supporting both educational and research activities.

   The dean affirmed that the issuance of the accreditation certificates constitutes a new achievement added to the faculty’s record of accomplishments, embodying its ongoing commitment to promoting a culture of quality and consolidating standards of academic excellence. She noted that this success is the result of collective efforts and constructive cooperation among the faculty’s administration, the Quality Assurance Unit, and the Departments of Physics and Materials Science.
