Under the supervision of Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science, the committee formed by her to select the Ideal Student and Ideal Female Student convened its meeting on Sunday, 21 December 2025. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Amgad Salem Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and included in its membership Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Nagy Salem, Emeritus Professor of Geology and Former Vice Dean of the faculty; Prof. Talaat Mohamed Meiz, Emeritus Professor of Physics and Former Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit; and Prof. Abdel Aziz Lotfy Abdel Dayem, Emeritus Professor of Geology and Former Dean of the faculty. The meeting was attended by Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in addition to Mr. Ahmed Shehab, Director of the Student Welfare Department, and Ms. Ezza El-Sayed El-Gamal from the Student Welfare Department.

   The committee selected student Ahmed Mohamed Goda, fourth level (Industrial Biotechnology), as the Ideal Student, and student Rahaf Mohamed Al-Naggar, fourth level (Biotechnology), as the Ideal Female Student.

   Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din expressed her pleasure at the distinguished level demonstrated by the faculty’s students, congratulating the winners and affirming that they represent role models to be emulated by their peers. She also noted that the winning students will represent the Faculty of Science at the university level, wishing all students continued success and excellence.
