As part of Tanta University’s commitment to supporting excellence and innovation in scientific research and encouraging postgraduate students to conduct outstanding research with scientific and practical value, the Faculty of Science has announced the results of the second stage of the Research Excellence Competition for Tanta University postgraduate students, following the completion of the judging and evaluation process in accordance with the competition’s approved rules and criteria.
At the Faculty of Science level, the competition results were as follows:
First Place at the Faculty Level
Researcher Nermeen Salah El-Din Hafez, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry.
Second Place at the Faculty Level
Researcher Tarek Mohamed Abu Bakr, Researcher in the Department of Chemistry.
The Faculty of Science extends its sincere congratulations to the first- and second-place winners at the faculty level in recognition of their outstanding research contributions, wishing them continued success and further excellence in their research careers.
The first-place winner at the faculty level, Researcher Nermeen Salah El-Din Hafez, will qualify to represent the Faculty of Science at the final scientific forum of the Research Excellence Competition for Tanta University postgraduate students, which is scheduled to be held, God willing, on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
The forum will bring together the first-place winners from the university’s various faculties to compete in the final stage. Afterwards, the top three winners at Tanta University level will be selected.
The Faculty of Science wishes its representative in the final stage every success and looks forward to her continued excellence and achievements in scientific research, contributing to enhancing the faculty’s and the university’s position in research and innovation.
