Tanta Faculty of Science Welcomes the Seventh Phase of the "Child University" Program in Cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology

   Today, Monday, August 3, 2026, the Faculty of Science at Tanta University welcomed the seventh phase of the "Child University" Program, implemented in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), as part of the university's efforts to promote scientific culture and develop children's skills. The program is held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, and under the supervision of Prof. Mahmoud Farouk Selim, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

   The activities commenced in Lecture Hall (9) in the presence of Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam Al-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Samir Qamh, General Coordinator of the Child University Program at Tanta University; Dr. Eman Bakr, Program Coordinator at the Faculty of Science; in addition to a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, the organizing team, and parents.

   In her speech, Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam Al-Din highlighted the Faculty of Science's commitment to actively participating in national initiatives aimed at preparing generations equipped with scientific awareness and a spirit of innovation. She indicated that the " Child University" Program represents a distinguished model of interactive learning, connecting children with science through hands-on experience and practical activities in laboratories and science museums, thereby contributing to the development of their abilities and the unleashing of their creative potential.

   The activities had remarkable interaction from the participating children, as the faculty's leadership, academic staff members, and teaching assistants engaged with them throughout the activities, answered their questions, and encouraged them to think innovatively in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and vitality.
