As part of its community mission and its commitment to promoting scientific awareness among younger generations, the Faculty of Science at Tanta University continued, on the morning of Tuesday, July 21, 2026, to receive children from the “Khair Baladna Association for Sustainable Development” for the third consecutive day as part of the faculty's scientific visits program, organized by the faculty to introduce children to science and technology in its educational laboratories.

   The visit to the Computer Laboratories of the Department of Mathematics was held in the presence of Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in coordination with Prof. Tarek Amer, Head of the Department of Mathematics. Computer science demonstrators of the department, in cooperation with specialists from the Public Service Center, delivered an interactive scientific and practical program through which the children learned about the components of a computer, how it operates, and its most important applications in everyday life, helping to develop their skills and inspire their interest in technology and innovation.

   Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam Al-Din, Faculty Dean, emphasized that the faculty believes in the importance of developing in children's minds by providing them with the opportunity to experience the university learning environment. She indicated that opening the faculty's laboratories to young learners is one of the key pillars of its community engagement role, aiming to foster a love of science, nurture creative thinking, and encourage younger generations to explore the fields of knowledge and scientific research from an early age.
