As part of the series of summer training programs for third-level students, students of the Geology Program at the Faculty of Science, Tanta University, participated in a field training program at the Nuclear Materials Authority in Cairo. The training provided students with insights into the latest operating, processing, and control systems used in industrial facilities, contributing to the development of their practical skills and better preparing them for the labor market.

   Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam Al-Din, Faculty Dean, affirmed the faculty's commitment to providing its students with distinguished field training opportunities at specialized national institutions. She noted that such training strengthens the practical aspects, bridges the gap between academic study and real-world application, and contributes to preparing qualified scientific professionals capable of meeting labor market demands.

   The training was held under the patronage of Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam Al-Din, Faculty Dean; Prof. Amgad Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mohamed Abdel Wahed, Head of the Department of Geology; and Prof. Hamed Meera, Chairman of the Nuclear Materials Authority, under the supervision of the faculty members of the Department of Geology.
