Tanta Faculty of Science Participates in the Regional Scientific Exhibition and Supports Student Innovation

   As part of the constructive cooperation among Gharbia Governorate, Tanta University and Gharbia Education Directorate; Faculty of Science at Tanta University actively participated in the Annual Regional Scientific Exhibition hosted by the Egyptian Japanese School in Tanta. Fifteen Egyptian Japanese Schools from different governorates took part in the exhibition.

   It is worth noting that the exhibition was held under the patronage of MG. Dr. Alaa Abdel Moety, Gharbia Governor; Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Engr. Nasser Hassan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Gharbia; in the presence of Prof. Abeer Alam Al-Din, Faculty Dean; Prof. Zenhom Salem, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Dr. Wafaa Al-Zentahy, Coordinator of the Chemistry English Teacher Preparation Program at the Faculty of Education; along with a distinguished group of academic and educational leaders and Japanese experts.

   The exhibition featured various outstanding scientific projects that underscored students’ innovation and their remarkable ability to apply science in creative ways, enhancing their scientific thinking and fostering knowledge creation.

   For her part, Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam Al-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science, affirmed that the faculty’s participation in this event stems from its societal role in supporting scientifically gifted students, commending the high level of the exhibited projects that demonstrate the potential of a generation capable of innovation and competitiveness.

   The exhibition is considered a significant step towards preparing a creative generation equipped with future skills and capable of contributing to building the New Republic.
