Tanta Faculty of Science Inaugurates the Exhibition of "Community Issues" Course Products and Commends the Innovations of Its Students

   Within the framework of Tanta University's support for linking the educational process with community issues, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University President, and in the presence of Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Science inaugurated the exhibition of the projects made by first-level students for the "Community Issues" course. The exhibition was organized under the supervision of Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean; Prof. Amgad Salama, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Marwa El-Nahass, Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Coordinator of the Exhibition, in coordination with Mr. Sherif El-Zainy, Secretary-General of the faculty.

   During the inauguration, the University Vice President toured the corridors of the exhibition, where he reviewed a distinguished group of student projects in the fields of environment, technology, and scientific solutions to community challenges, while utilizing basic sciences such as chemistry, physics, and biology to present applied ideas that support achieving the sustainable development goals in Egypt. He expressed his admiration for the scientific and research level of the students, praising their ability to transform theoretical knowledge into practical solutions that serve society.

   Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz affirmed that these events represent a true embodiment of Egypt’s vision to empower youth and develop their creative capabilities, explaining that the "Community Issues" course is an applied model that connects students to their reality and enhances their spirit of national responsibility and purposeful scientific research. He also expressed his pride in the faculty's students, stressing the university's continuous support for all initiatives that contribute to preparing graduates capable of innovation and effective participation in building the future.

   Moreover, Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, confirmed that this exhibition was held in the context of the faculty's keenness to develop students' applied skills and enhance their capacity for critical and creative thinking, noting that what the students presented reflects an outstanding level of awareness regarding the community issues course and their ability to provide innovative solutions that contribute to serving the community.

   The exhibited projects included scientific, environmental, technological, and social fields, thereby contributing to the development of students' skills and enhancing their spirit of teamwork.
