The Faculty of Science at Tanta University organized, today, Monday, 9 March 2026, a seminar titled “The Nature of Medical Promotion and Its Required Skills.” The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, under the supervision of Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar was delivered by chemist Teresa Malak, District Manager at Hi Pharm Pharmaceutical Industries, who reviewed the nature of work in the field of medical promotion and the key skills required for professionals working in this sector. She also highlighted labor market requirements and the career opportunities available for graduates of faculties of science within pharmaceutical companies.
Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, affirmed that organizing such seminars aligns with the faculty’s commitment to linking academic study with labor market requirements and introducing students to the professional opportunities available to them after graduation, thereby contributing to the development of their skills and preparing them for professional life.
