The Faculty of Science — Tanta University welcomed, on the morning of Sunday, 15 February 2026, a school visit by students from Ali Mubarak Primary School to the faculty’s Zoology and Geology Museums. The visit was organized in the context of the faculty’s community engagement role and its commitment to promoting scientific awareness among students.
During the visit, students were given a simplified presentation on the animal specimens, rock collections, and geological maps displayed in the two museums, contributing to the development of their scientific knowledge and linking theoretical study with practical application in an interactive manner.
The theoretical and practical explanations were delivered by:

• Researcher Alia El-Nahhas, Demonstrator, Department of Zoology
This visit reflects the faculty’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its societal role, enhance communication with pre-university educational institutions, and contribute to fostering scientific culture among younger generations.
