The Faculty of Science, Tanta University, organized a field visit to the 3rd International Defense Industries Exhibition (EDEX 2025), in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defense Forces and in coordination with the university’s General Administration of Youth Welfare. The visit aimed to acquaint students with the latest global technologies in the fields of defense and security.

   The visit was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, Tanta University President, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and was supervised by Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Amgad Salem Salama, Vice Dean of the faculty. The visit was coordinated by Prof. Marwa Nabih El-Nahas, Coordinator of Student Visits at the faculty, and Dr. Hanem Farouk, Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics.

    Students from various departments took part in the visit, along with members of the “For Egypt” student group. They toured the exhibition halls and learned about the latest defense systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and applications of artificial intelligence in the military field.
