As part of the diverse student activities organized by Tanta University for the academic year 2025 / 2026 — and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University President, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Agooz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs — and under the supervision of Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Prof. Amgad Salem Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Magdy Wakwak, Student Activities Coordinator at the university; and Mr. Mohamed El-Qasir, Director General of the General Administration for Youth — and in coordination with Mr. Ahmed Shehab, Director of Student Welfare, and the Faculty Students’ Union — the Faculty of Science futsal team participated in the final match of the University League amid outstanding student enthusiasm and a spirit of fair competition.

    The team delivered a strong and honorable performance in the final against the team of the Faculty of Computer and Information. The regular time ended in a 4 / 4 draw, and the match was decided by penalty shootouts, which concluded 3 / 2 in favor of the team of Faculty of Computer and Information. Thus, the Faculty of Science team deservedly secured second place.

   In her remarks, Prof. Abeer Abdel Hamid Alam El-Din expressed her pride in the team’s exceptional performance. The Faculty of Science extends its sincere congratulations to the team on this achievement and wishes them continued success in future championships.
