Tanta University Council held a session on July 30, 2025. The session was chaired by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University President, and was attended by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Hatem Amin, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. It was also attended by deans of faculties, council members, researchers and holders of the Best Master's Theses and PhD Dissertations Awards in the academic year 2024-2025. The honored researchers included Dr. Mohsen Al-Sharkawy, holder of the Best PhD Dissertation Award, and researcher Nadia Al-Bahrawy, holder of the Best Master's Thesis Award in the area of Basic, Engineering and Agricultural Sciences. The honoring was attended by Prof. Abeer Alam Al-Din, Dean of Faculty of Science.

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein affirmed that outstanding young researchers represent the future of scientific research in Egypt, and that the honoring is not merely a recognition of their individual efforts, but a clear message from Tanta University asserting its firm commitment to supporting scientific research and innovation as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development.
