Prof. Abeer Alam Al-Din, Dean of Faculty of Science at Tanta University, received the delegation of the Quality Management System Review Committee: Dr. Mohamed Amin, Consultant of the Arab Company for Engineering Consultations and Systems; Engr. Nagwa Ahmed, Senior Reviewer at QME Company; Dr. Mona El-Zanaty, Reviewer at QME Company; and Dr. Sabah Sharshour, Manager of the Quality Assurance Center at the university. The meeting was attended by Prof. Amgad Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof. Ali Abdel Salam, Head of the Physics Department; Prof. Tarek Mostafa, Head of the Chemistry Department; Prof. Eman Abdel Zaher, Head of the Botany Department; Prof. Nahla Omran, Manager of the Quality Assurance Unit; Mr. Sherif El-Zeiny, Faculty Secretary-General; the faculty quality team; and the directors and administrative staff of the faculty.

    The Dean welcomed the members of the visiting committee, the vice deans, heads of scientific departments, the director of the university and faculty quality assurance units, and the internal audit officer. She reviewed the committee’s agenda of the visit, which included assessing the faculty’s achievement of quality objectives, performance indicators, and all operations carried out by the faculty. The committee recommended the renewal of the faculty’s ISO 9001:2015 and 21001:2018 certificates.
