In the framework of the commitment of Faculty of Science, Tanta University, to enhance safety within laboratories and to ensure a safe work environment for students and laboratory workers, a seminar entitled "Electrical Hazards in Student and Research Laboratories and Methods of Prevention" was organized under the auspices of Prof. Abeer Alam El-Din, Faculty Dean, and under the supervision of Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. It was delivered by Prof. Mustafa El-Nimr, Emeritus Professor at Department of Physics, with the participation of Prof. Samia Saafan, Emeritus Professor and former Chairperson of the Council of Department of Physics. The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, laboratory secretaries and students.
