Tanta Faculty of Science Welcomes Students from Al-Mustaqbal Language School

   As part of the Faculty of Science at Tanta University’s commitment to community engagement and fostering scientific literacy among the youth, the faculty welcomed students from Al-Mustaqbal Language School on the morning of Thursday, April 30, 2026. This educational visit was designed to demonstrate the faculty’s capabilities and its specialized scientific museums within the Departments of Geology and Zoology.

   The event was held in the presence of Prof. Zenhom Salem, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hamza Khalil, Emeritus Professor at the Department of Geology; and Mr. Karim Bakr, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Zoology. An introductory tour was organized for the visiting students.

   During the visit, students were introduced to the core scientific and research activities conducted at the faculty, alongside simple explanations of geological maps, rock formations, and the various animal specimens within the museums.

   This initiative aligns with the strategy of the Faculty of Science at Tanta University, which aims to disseminate scientific culture, enhance its societal role in environmental service, and contributes to preparing a conscious generation capable of keeping pace with modern global advancements.
