- Catching up with the latest developments in the physical sciences by focusing on the new researches that are consistent with the continuous development distinguishing these sciences.
  - Raising the level of the graduates of Physics Department and the graduates of related sciences by organizing training courses in the various sciences of Physics to prepare qualified graduates able to continue teaching and scientific research.
 - Making sure that the teaching staff members are up-to-date with the recent scientific development through establishing research units in the different disciplines and holding periodic scientific seminars.
