Prof. Al-Refa’I Mubarak, Tanta University Vice President, attended today the theatrical show presented by Faculty of Science, “My Aunt Safia” that is written by Yassin Al-Dawy and directed by Ahmed Abdel Halim, in attendance of Prof. Abdel Aziz Abdel Dayem, Faculty Dean, and Prof. Ahmed Al-Seba’y, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, as well as a huge group of students.

   Yesterday evening, activities of theatrical shows presented by University faculties started at the theatre of the old building of Faculty of Arts with the show “Devil’s Tears” by students of Faculty of Physical Education that is written by Mahmoud Al-Gammal, its décor is by Mohammed Mohsen and Mohammed Khaled and directed by Ibrahim Al-Tantawi in attendance of Dr. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities; Prof. Hany Al-Said, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Mr. Gamal Hamza, Manager of the General Administration of Student Welfare.  

    Prof. Mubarak declared that the University headed by Prof. Magdi Sab' was keen on carrying out and supporting those activities which nurtured students’ talents and helped them to innovate. He added that those activities were not less important than academic study. He indicated that the University organized that theatrical forum on annual basis. 

     Dr. Magdy Wakwak pointed out that the festival was organized by Cultural and Artistic Activity Department at the General Administration of Student Welfare of the University. He indicated that participating theatrical shows had good ideas and good texts and that they would be presented for two weeks.
